Have you been to your local library recently? I spent some time at the downtown Fort Wayne library today while I had some time. As I browsed the aisle with management titles, I caught myself being amazed by the depth and breadth of titles carried, including leading recently released books. There were a few books that caught my eye that I hadn’t seen at Barnes and Noble. As I picked them up to skim them, I ended gathering a few new ideas that I could implement to improve performance. I have now committed to spending time each month in the library browsing for books of benefit and learning that I might otherwise miss. I would encourage you to do the same. It is a simple way to be a lifelong learner and stay on top of the everchanging world.
